Persian Nain. Nain is a small town about 150 km east of Isfahan and on the great desert in central Iran. The carpets that are made in Nain have curvature in their patterns. Nain carpets are among the best in the world. The unique characteristic of Nain carpets is a single medallion set against a blue or ivory background as seen in this work of art.
