Tabriz weavers prefer to weave the most favorable designs of other Persian weaving groups. This contemporary work of art has a rectangular shape, a curvilinear pattern, and a beautiful red background color. Not a single detail has been sacrificed in this piece. From the shadowing of the floral pattern through the use of a variety of tones for each color, to the fringe work which in itself incorporates a symmetrical series of flowers, this rug is a lovely addition to any space.
